From modest beginnings — starting the lab in small rented premises (two-rooms at 34 Lawrence Road) while continuing academic work to support herself financially - she gradually expanded.
Over the years the lab has grown in scale, reputation, and reach: acquiring advanced equipment (e.g. auto-analysers, photometers etc.), achieving ISO/NABL certification, growing staff numbers, adding many sample collection points (over a hundred), and processing large numbers of daily test-samples.
